Diary sub-note: 2nd [Sunday] in Advent
1882. Anthony Trollope, novelist, died
Mlle Hartmann & Mlle Grosslin went to La Lenk. They had a car accident on the way back & Mlle Hartmann was taken to hospital with injuries. It snowed in the afternoon quite a lot. There was a lot about David in the papers. Spent whole day cutting out pictures of him.
