Diary sub-note: 1916. Roumania entered the war Had breakfast at the Swan Hotel, Horning, & lunch at the “Little Guest House” Horning. Moved on to Potter Heigham & stopped for tea at St Bennet’s Abbey ruins on the way. Looked over the ruins. Little Jeanie’s birthday. 1 year old.
