Diary sub-note: Pheasant Shooting begins
1918. Capture of St. Quentin and Damascus

Didn’t do gym. Went to Annemasse, in France. Saw Mt Blanc for the first time. The biggest mountain in Europe. Painted in the evening & sang while Marjorie played.
