Sylvia, Peggy’s mother, created a beautiful photograph album of Peggy’s early years, including hand-written dates and location notes. Over the next seven days I’ll be posting a selection of the photos daily, from the latest to the earliest, in the lead-up to what would have been Peggy’s 100th birthday on February 22nd.
You’ll notice that she is known as Bettie when she’s 11 years old. This name stuck with her throughout her life.
